To Be or Not To Be a 'Wife'?

A few days ago I heard Louis sigh "Oh no! The button has come off my suit...", his work suit that is. I quickly went back to sleep but at the same time waited for the request to sew it back on for him. It never came thankfully......

until yesterday. It was so cute and so funny at the same time. Imagine the cutest face being hid under the towel so only puppy dog eyes can be seen....
"Honey? Can you sew my button back on my suit for me... please?" I couldn't help but laugh and laugh at him. People know that I don't mind sewing and that I won home-ec & sewing prizes in school (3 yrs in a row) but I never thought I'd have to actually put it into practice!

So, did I sew it back on for him as a good little-wife-to-be should??? You'll have to ask him.

I've got the dress!

So there's 25 days before we land on the little island and climb the 99 steps to St. Mary's chapel on Bled Island in Slovenia. Am I nervous? Yes! Am I excited? Yes! Do I need to do some shopping to make sure my suitcase is packed sufficiently? Stupid question... Yess!!!

Well I picked up my wedding dress today from the dressmaker. It's all altered now so it fits properly and perfectly. Thanks to Julie for doing such a great job on it. We have both agreed that it's a shame that I'll only get to wear it once and that it has to hang on the hanger until Slovenia. Well, I've figured it out now. All I have to do before the wedding day is try it on everyday - just to make sure it sits properly, try hair & make-up styles with it on, etc... - and then after the wedding, wear it once a year for every School Bookweek Parade. 1st yr - Cinderella, 2nd yr - Snow White (getting married), 3rd yr - Beauty (getting married to the Beast) you get the picture?

So as you can see, stage 1 of the plans are going well.
